Wet Sampling Solutions
Accurate wet sampling is essential for reliable metallurgical accounting, process control, and consistent test data in mineral processing. Over time, wear, corrosion, and mechanical strain can impact the performance of wet sampling systems, leading to inaccurate samples and operational inefficiencies.
We specialize in the maintenance, installation, and refurbishment of wet sampling equipment, ensuring your existing systems continue to operate efficiently, accurately, and safely. By restoring and maintaining your samplers, we help your plant achieve optimal performance and minimize costly downtime.
Our Wet Sampling Capabilities
High throughput maintenance:
We service and refurbish systems handling high-volume slurry streams (up to and beyond 6,000 m³/hour), maintaining efficiency and reliability under demanding conditions.
Cross-stream & cross-cut integrity:
Our technicians ensure every particle in the slurry flow maintains an equal chance of sampling by calibrating and refurbishing equipment to best-practice sampling standards.
Custom refurbishment solutions:
We offer tailored rebuilds using high-durability materials such as rubber-lined steel, stainless steel, or ceramics — extending the lifespan of your equipment and resisting corrosion or abrasion.
Two-in-One Sampler
This unit combines both primary and secondary sampling in a single housing. It’s ideal for vertical gravity slurry flows where you don’t want to install separate reject lines or large additional infrastructure. Use this where you want compactness, lower headroom, and minimal duplication of equipment.
-
Handles vertical slurry lines (fits into 100 NB up to ~900 NB)
-
Capable of flows in the multiple thousands of m³/h
-
No separate reject line required
-
Compact and robust — easier installation
-
Primary + secondary cutter integration (Vezin section)
-
Adjustable division ratios, optional flush systems
RAMA™ (Realtime Automated Metallurgical Accounting)
This is your all-in-one solution for combining metallurgical accounting, sub-sampling, and sample preparation into one integrated system. When you want to feed online analysers with a fully representative sample stream, eliminate interstream contamination, and reduce total sampling error, RAMA™ becomes the preferred choice for high-accuracy operations.
-
Integrates full cross-stream sampling, division, and preparation
-
Designed to eliminate up to ~80 % of total sampling errors
-
Modular and compact — suitable for retrofit or new installations
-
Supports analyser feeds with minimal manual handling
-
Compliant with AMIRA P754 and Theory of Sampling best practices
Launder Cross-Cut Sampler
This is the sampler you choose when your slurry is in an open channel or launder, not enclosed pipe. It removes a full cross-cut directly from the open flow. Use it where piping is impractical or the plant already uses open launders.
-
Cuts the full cross-section from open slurry flow
-
Robust design suitable for heavy duty operation
-
Minimal moving parts and simple maintenance
-
Adaptable to various launder geometries
-
Suitable for high solids, abrasive slurries
Vezin Slurry Sampler
This is your sub-sampling or division stage. It takes a primary sample and divides it into smaller, representative streams via multiple radial cutters. Use this when you need final division control (e.g. 4 %, 8 %, 16 %) or when modularity in sample sizing is needed.
-
Multiple radially tapered cutters (10 mm up to 40 mm or more)
-
Supports division ratios (e.g. 4 % to 16 %)
-
Lightweight construction (e.g. rubber-lined or polymer)
-
Operates continuously or time-based
-
Replicate or dual sampling capabilities
-
Wash water / flush systems to avoid build-up
Shark Fin Sampler
Also known as a “thief” sampler, this device is used in pressurized pipelines to take specimen cuts via a dilated housing that allows mixing, followed by a cutter taking a small continuous sample. Use it when you need a lightweight, compact sampler for enclosed process lines.
-
Mounted directly onto the pipeline via flanged connections
-
Range typically from ~ 50 mm to 700 mm NB pipe sizes
-
Adjustable cutter opening or baffles upstream
-
Used in conjunction with secondary samplers for final composite sampling
-
Suitable for online analyser feeds from pressurized lines
Pressure Pipe Sampler
Used when the slurry is contained in a pressurized pipeline. It creates turbulence in a dilated housing so that mixing is improved, then draws a representative sample via a central probe or cutter. Use it where headroom is limited and you’re sampling enclosed, high-pressure lines.
-
Designed to operate under high pressure (e.g. up to 20 bar or more)
-
Dilated housing to promote mixing and reduce bias
-
Ceramic-lined or hardwearing probe options
-
Often linked with a timed secondary sampler for composite samples
-
Best for process control sampling rather than full metallurgical accounting
Primary Rotary Cross-Cut Sampler
This is the classic sampler you use when you need to extract a full cross-section sample from a flowing slurry channel or box. It is well suited for consistent flows and stable channels. Use it when you want high repeatability in the primary cut before you divide it further.
-
Full cross-stream cut across the slurry flow
-
Constant cutter speed to maintain sampling integrity
- Suitable for box, trough, or channel installations
-
Often paired with a secondary sampler downstream
